Back in the saddle (almost)

It's been awhile...  a long while.  Last I wrote, we were on adoption hiatus.  So ya, we've basically been on hiatus since then.  We put our names on hold, meaning we weren't open to having our profile shown.  I changed jobs, then changed jobs again.  Moonbeam grew and grew into an almost four year old (what???!!!!  Yes, crazy I know).  We told ourselves that we'd go back on the list around the time Moonbeam turned four.  Well, here we are.  We contacted the agency today and we told them we're ready.  So here goes, another home study update, another round of adoption mania.  I'm freaking out, I'm excited, but I'm so so scared.  I think the first time we were so naive to everything that could go well, everything that could go wrong.  But I feel more equipped this time - for the happy times and the angsty times.  Or eyes more open anyway, which is hard, exciting but scary too.  I haven't booked our home study yet....  I need just a wee bit more time with my happy little family of three before we careen into the unknown of "then there were four" ...
